GETTING TO VIETNAM & VENUE
The best way to reach Sapa is by flying into Hanoi, Vietnam.
Mark and Monique will arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam on 17 May 2025. They plan to explore the city and familiarise themselves with the culture for a few days before travelling to Sapa on 23 May 2025. After their wedding, they intend to depart from Sapa on 27 May 2025.
Hanoi serves as the main gateway to Sapa, so travellers should book their flights to and from Noi Bai International Airport (HAN). The journey from Hanoi to Sapa typically takes about 5 to 6 hours by luxury bus or limousine van. Alternatively, those looking for a different experience can take a sleeper train to Lao Cai, which takes approximately 8 to 9 hours, followed by a 1-hour car or shuttle ride to Sapa.
